Shamakhi city center reconstruction concept

The engraving of the German traveler Adam Olearius in 1656 depicts a tower in the center of the city of Shamakhi. Our team proposed to recreate a similar tower with an observation deck. This tower can be built in the center of Shamakhi and become a new symbol of our ancient city.

The tower will become a new point of attraction for citizens and guests of the city and will bring together various tourist enterprises around it (travel agencies, restaurants and cafes, souvenir shops, etc.). The public space near the tower will serve to create new jobs and develop the service sector.

The staircase leading to the observation deck passes through the levels where expositions about the ancient history of Shirvan and the city are located.
